My Reflection

There is a lot of new thing I had learned through this course. For example, I have learned about Smart School which attempt to be introduced in Malaysia but it doesn’t work here. And also School in Cloud which had introduce by Dr Sugata Mitra. Although the school concept was very new and too ambitious to achieve at this moment but it has become a new chapter in education. I believe that there should be more research in education field to develop and to strengthen our next coming generation.

Besides that, this course also exposed me to a new method in preparing my learning aids. I have learned about how to produce my own games activity such as crosswords, words search and Wardle by just visiting TheTeachersCorners.net website. Meanwhile, the X-mind programs also teach me to develop concept map easily and attractively. This has improved my knowledge in technologies besides just using the “old school” program such as Microsoft words and Microsoft Power Point.

The most important part is, now I have my own blog. Blogging is a new thing for me, but I believe it’s a good medium to communicate with my students and sharing my knowledge with my fellow friends around the world. Since there is no border in cyber world, this course had exposed me to a Cyber bullies issue too. Since then, it has taught me to be more responsible and to think wise before spread or received any information from internet.

Finally, I would like to thanks Prof Madya Dr Sadiah Baharom for the guidance and advice during the course. May Allah bless you.

Yours truly,

Nor Adilah Mohd Hasnan

Oh Exam!

Assalamualaikum readers...

Since the exam just around the corner, many students were asking me tips to have a good result in Chemistry. Usually I just give them a simple answer like “hard work”, “practice makes perfect” or “never give up”. But today, i want to share some tips for you. so here we go...

1. Be close to your teacher. “Close” here doesn’t mean that you have to pretend to be a friend  or giving a gift just to make sure they will remember you. “Close” here means you must constantly meet your teacher for a revision or get advices for you subject’s problems.

2. Get a past- year exam papers from the library, seniors or even you teacher. Surely they willing to help you if you willing to ask.

3. Don't just get the papers, but work with it okey. =)

4. Never offend your teachers by doing something he/she might feel uneasy about it. Seek for forgiveness.

5. Finally, pray for a smooth journey to success.

Nothing is easy in our life, there is ups and down, love and hate, win and lose, that the cycle of life. But we have to be brave to face everything, overcome the obstacle and move on.

So come on, light up your spirit, gear up and speed!. show to the world nothing can stop you.

GOOD LUCK!

Hello all, i'm sure you have heard that "Practice make perfect!" word right?. As i can remember that word always been said many times. Does it means anything to you?. Back then i honestly think that the word are just saying by the teachers just to make sure that i'm doing my work. I means lots of works......(insert cry here.....) to make sure i'll get a good results in my exam and to burden me at the same time.....(hmmm....)

A decades has passed, now i am a teacher, being a teacher make me realize the power of the word of "Practice makes perfect!" because its really work. When you do an exercises, it open up you to many types of questions and thinking skills. It can strengthen you skills of memorizing the formula and find out keys of the problems by doing it many times.

As for that....here is the quick test in chemistry to strengthen your skills too. Stop complaining and remember "Practice makes perfect!". Happy Practicing! =)
